Multi-simulation analysis

It allows the creation of multiple scenarios based on different heuristics (i.e. different scheduling parameters and constraints) and supporting the what-if analysis. The planner can implement several heuristics: the scheduling settings allow the definition of scheduling horizon and frozen period, as well as additional important constraints management (such as materials, campaigns, teams, tools, …).

The planner is also supported by various detailed reports, that can be easily configured within the workspace thanks to the Layout Manager functionality: Fishing Pond shows the list of all the production operations to be scheduled, together with related information such as P/N, scheduled order quantity, already produced quantity, due date. Resources Gantt focuses on the productions scheduled on the selected resource. Orders Gantt shows the time commitment of the scheduled orders, and of all their operations.

Hour/Pieces Report shows, day by day and resource by resource, work, setup and startup times, and the produced quantities. Loads Report shows, day by day and resource by resource, the plant load, comparing available capacity (according to resource calendars) and actual production time, differentiating between work, setup and startup. Possibility to create custom overview reports with runtime data, thanks to Web Scheduling standard web services and its integration with Analytics.

Manual Optimization

Planners can easily drag and drop production operations to adjust the production plan directly inside the Production Gantt or from the Fishing Pond to the Production Gantt (in case of manual scheduling). During manual modifications, the system automatically checks in real-time the configured constraints, e.g. materials, tools, teams, and shows warning icons in case of their violation.
