A user’s achievements can originate from any source, such as tertiary education, a previous employer’s compliance training, online courses, or their own upskilling that they may have done in their own time - the origins of a user’s achievements are virtually limitless and holds true for both employees as well as contractors.
Skypiom’s “Consolidated Achievement Registry” or CAR, captures and records these achievements and even allows for the migration of user data from an existing LMS.
More importantly, CAR ensures that there is one central place in which all learning and compliance activities are recorded and referenced from, which is instrumental in accurately managing compliance in its entirety.

Learning Management System
Skypiom Compliance comprises a powerful and feature rich learning management system, purpose built for compliance training.
Learning materials and assessments (including non-compliance related materials) may be consumed via Skypiom Compliance's integrated LMS. Alternatively, a customer may leverage their existing LMS from which to deploy learning materials and assessments.
Learning material functionality includes supporting SCORM as well as common file formats, mobile and tablet accessibility, alerts and reminders, enrolment management, cost capturing as well as eCommerce options. Assessment options include multiple choice, free text and observational assessing, including weighting of answers, negative answers, various randomisation options as well as AI proctoring.SCORM & Common File Format compatible
Performance Management
Skypiom Compliance's Performance Management module may be used to track and incentivise the performance of employees, external stakeholders such as contractors, groups and departments as well as other environments that require ongoing performance tracking and development.
Reviews may be deployed via one of two methods:
Single Person Workflow: the information for the review is supplied either by the user or by their manager. When all information has been supplied the review will be closed and the data becomes available as part of a user's performance metrics.
Dual Party Workflow: both a specific user and their respective manager are requested to provide information for the review. Neither party can see the answers of the other party until both parties have completed entries.
Auditing
Auditing verifies, evaluates and clearly delineates to what degree conformance has taken place pertaining to a specification, policy or procedure.
Skypiom Compliance’s fully integrated auditing suite allows for flexible specification and execution of almost any auditing requirement - both online and offline. Irrespective whether the audit type is internal or external, or whether the audit is conducted on-site, remote or via a self-audit, Skypiom Compliance ensures a wide degree of auditing flexibility that caters for almost all auditing environments.
Mandatory Notices
Organisations often require documentation to be disseminated to an audience after which unequivocal evidence is required that demonstrates a user having read a specific document. Skypiom Compliance solves this challenge by automating the distribution of Mandatory Notices, which are obligatory documents that a user must digitally sign after having read the document.
Mandatory Notices track who has read the Notice, including date, time and from which device, as well as IP address the Notice was read from. In addition, Skypiom Compliance can outline which user the Notice applies to and whether or not they have read and acknowledged the Notice.
The Mandatory Notices functionality also automatically alerts and reminds users should they not yet have consumed and acknowledged the Notice, whereby this level of oversight may also be extended to members of management as well as system administrators.
Compliance Roles / Items
Compliance Roles, the backbone of Skypiom Compliance, govern all compliance requirements for both employees as well as external stakeholders, such as clients or contractors. Compliance Roles cater for the tracking of just a single item as well as the tracking of multiple items.
By way of example, the tracking of a single item could be the tracking of a professional driving permit, whereby the tracking of multiple items could be a financial advisor who must complete the FAIS RE5 assessment as well as complete Anti-Money Laundering, Cybersecurity, Know Your Customer and Data Breach Policy on a recurring basis.
Granular Reporting
Skypiom Compliance can deliver truly granular, insightful and powerful reports on a scheduled or on-demand basis with various reporting options.
Standard & Custom Reporting: Skypiom Compliance comprises an impressive basket of standard reports that exceed most learning and compliance platform's reporting offering. Should the standard reports not be sufficient, custom reports - such as legislative reports - will fill any possible void: Skypiom Compliance’s “Report Development Kit”, allows for genuine custom reporting that extends well beyond the capabilities of a standard report generator. The Report Development Kit also allows a customer to create custom reports that include data not contained within Skypiom Compliance i.e. from systems beyond the KMS such as ERPs or CRMs.
Alerts & Notifications
Skypiom Compliance automatically sends out various alerts and reminders, prompting users to either take note or appropriate action.
The administrator may define exactly when and how often a user should be reminded before each Compliance Item and the associated Role expires.
Should the user let the Compliance Item and Role expire then daily reminders will be sent to the user prompting them to take action.
Learning Materials
Skypiom provides customers with an array of content to keep users engaged, productive and compliant - at no additional cost!
Skypiom Compliance deploys with ±150 compliance and soft skills courses, with course recommendations being displayed on the landing page. This ensures immediate time to value, whereby the administrator may make some or all of the courses available in the course library allowing users to self-enrol into the content as they wish. Alternatively, courses may be restricted so that users cannot self-enrol. In this case the administrator enrols users into the required courses.
Each compliance course, in addition to the user receiving a certificate, is accredited by the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa (CISA) as CPD bearing in the area of governance, risk and compliance.
